Overview
Singers Forum is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the development and appreciation of the vocal arts for individuals of any age or level of experience and from all walks of life. Founded in 1978 by Andy Anselmo and John Albert Harris, Singers Forum is built on the philosophy of personal achievement and artistic development through vocal training, performance and community service. It is unique among the professional training schools in the city because it offers year-round classes for the emerging artist as well as the recreational singer in all styles of vocal performance including, but not limited to, opera, musical theatre, jazz, pop and cabaret.

Classes range from beginning vocal technique and music skills to performance technique and interpretation. Private lessons are also available. Throughout the year, numerous recitals and performances are presented along with an "open-mic" night held on the first Friday of each month. Additionally, Singers Forum community service programs reach a wide and varied constituency through our Outreach performances and Singers Forum Youth Scholarship Program.
